Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, milk, and egg. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the meatballs. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides.
- Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add your favorite marinara sauce and bring to a simmer.
- Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Serve the meatballs hot with your favorite pasta or as an appetizer.
