Sanity boosting meal

A delicious and easy-to-make rice dish that will delight your taste buds.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of rice
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 cup of frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • 1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  • 2. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
  • 3. Add the rice to the boiling water and cook for 10 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
  • 4. While the rice is cooking, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • 5. Add the onion, garlic, bell pepper, carrot, and peas to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are tender.
  • 6. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir to combine.
  • 7. Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir to coat the rice and vegetables.
  • 8. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until everything is heated through.
  • 9. Serve hot and enjoy!
