Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of American cheese
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup sliced pickles
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle to medium-high heat.
- 2. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and shape them into patties.
- 3. Season the patties with salt and pepper on both sides.
- 4. Place the patties on the grill or griddle and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- 5. While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- 6. Once the patties are cooked, place a slice of American cheese on top of each patty and allow it to melt.
- 7. Assemble the cheeseburgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun.
- 8. Top each patty with diced onions, sliced pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
- 9. Place the top half of the bun on each cheeseburger.
- 10. Serve the cheeseburgers hot and enjoy!
