Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, honey, and olive oil.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Transfer the dough to a greased loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
