Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese
- 2 slices bread
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Heat the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook until the edges start to set.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the eggs.
- Place the bread slices on top of the cheese.
- Cover the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
- Carefully flip the eggs and bread together, so the bread is on the bottom.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the eggs are fully cooked.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
