An ancient method of self-healing that takes
only 10 minutes a day!

As long as body, soul and mind are in harmony, one will be healthy. This is the basis of the Ayurvedic philosophy and the ancient healing method it pioneered.
In this article, you will learn about six Ayurvedic self-healing techniques that take only 10 minutes a day to perform. Repeating them regularly will help you improve your physical, mental and spiritual health.

Ayurveda is the most ancient holistic system of healing, which finds active application in the modern world. But even more interesting is the fact that people living in India prefer Ayurveda over traditional medicine, and are even trained in this art in schools and universities. Moreover, in 1977, the benefits of Ayurveda were officially recognized by the World Health Organization.

As long as body, soul and mind are in harmony with each other, a person will be healthy. This is the basis of Ayurvedic philosophy and the ancient Indian healing method it pioneered.

Ayurvedic teachings say that everything in this universe is permeated and interconnected by energy. Life in the human body is supported by three doshas (a kind of bioregulators): vata, kapha and pitta. The first is responsible for breathing, the second for strength, and the third controls metabolism. If they are balanced with each other, we feel good. And proper nutrition, massage, yoga and meditation improve our ability to heal ourselves.

        Daily 10-minute sessions for self-healing:

   Morning – 6 minutes
Cleaning your tongue – 30 seconds

After brushing your teeth, remove all deposits and food debris from your tongue. The liver, gallbladder and kidneys help the human body get rid of harmful substances.

Being a by-product of certain metabolic processes, deposits and toxins are deposited on the tongue. And if you do not get rid of them in time, they will eventually begin to block the energy flows in your body.

Using sesame oil – 2 minutes

After you brush your teeth and tongue, rinse your mouth with sesame oil for two minutes. After that, spit it out and rinse your mouth with warm water.

Sesame oil prevents plaque, cavities and gingivitis. It is also rich in linoleic acid and actively fights fungus, bacteria and viruses.

                        Self-massage – 3 minutes

Massage each part of your body in the following order: neck, back (as far back as possible), then rub your shoulders, arms and fingers in a circular motion. Massage the upper part of the sternum with gentle horizontal movements, gradually moving to the abdomen. Massage it from top to bottom and from left to right. Next in line are the thighs. Massage them from outside to inside and from top to bottom. Now move on to the knees and feet, rubbing them in circular motions.

Massage improves energy circulation and replenishes energy stores. Each area of the skin is associated with a specific internal organ, and according to the followers of Ayurvedic philosophy, after such a massage, all organs work much better due to improved blood flow.

In the afternoon – 2 minutes:
Drinking hot water – 30 seconds
Boil half a liter of water for 10-15 minutes. Pour the water into a thermos and drink in small sips for half an hour. Due to its special energetic characteristics, boiled water stimulates digestive processes and thus helps to eliminate toxins from the body.

         Relaxing breathing – 2 minutes

Take a deep inhale with your nose, hold your breath and then exhale, also with your nose. Do not think about absolutely nothing. If you find it hard to get rid of your thoughts, think of something good, the beach, the wind…..

Thoughts about problems, anger and fear often only lead to diseases of internal organs, and relaxation, on the contrary, helps their recovery. With relaxed breathing we stimulate the brain’s production of endorphins, which make us happy. But it takes practice.

                        Evening – 2 minutes:
Stimulate digestion and improve sleep quality – 2 minutes

Heat a small amount of sesame oil. Rub a few drops into the stomach area and then, using the entire palm of your hand, continue to massage your stomach in gentle clockwise circular motions.

Next, soak a towel in warm water and hold it on your stomach until it cools down. Finally, wipe your belly dry. Such a light massage helps to establish digestion by stimulating intestinal contractions. And this, in turn, solves the problem of insomnia, resulting from the disruption of the digestive tract.

It’s simple, yet very effective. So why not start tomorrow?
